We were ar Arch One last night and what a brilliant night it turned out to be with everyone brining A game sets. There’s something special about Arch One, something that brings the best out in both acts and audiences. First to the stage last night was the hilarious Sam Adamson and how a confident hand shake is no substitute for a bedtime story. The Tim Biglowe was next. Sunday, February 6th, Star of Kings

Yesterday’s Sunday afternoon comedy at The Star of Kings was another of our Growing Old Disgracefully shows…and did it live up to its name! Kicking things off we had the wonderful Theresa Bradstreet and the arid joys of the menopause. It was then over to Nicu Tematoru who regardless of how many people he knows doing it, he refuses to shave his legs. Next was the mellifluous marvel that is Barbara Fernandez, who sang at her ex-agent’s funeral. Turns out the security was sorely lax. It was a fabulously buzzing night at Arch1 last night, great crowd and a cracking line-up. First up was Ren Pereira, a lady for whom 9/11 was a very dark period and a more than memorable homemade airline tampon. It was then over to Danny Walsh who reliably informed us that The Queen couldn’t possibly be a lizard and that it’s just not on to claim you’re the son of God while wearing a Primark tracksuit.
