Tuesday, May 17th, Star of Kings

It was a buzzing room at The Star of Kings last night with a great line-up to keep the crowd satisfied. First up was Dave Mullen who used to get insecure about stuff, stuff that seemed to come via the rule of five. Ren Pereira was after Dave with what horrifies her most. Is it global warming, the prospect of war? No. Piers Morgan gettin his own TV series again! It was then over to Mark Vincent who is proud of his real man’s prostate before Kym Nelson made us all realise there are some things you just shouldn’t know…like

Sunday, May 15th, Star of Kings

We had another great Sunday at The Star of Kings this evening. Kicking things off we had Callum Mackenzie whose favourite British drinking game is Me vs My Organs. Next was Andy Kyte and everything from Gandhi to stylish millinery and mobile cheese. What’s not to love. It was then over to Candace Bryan who left the US because of its guns and racism for the Uk and its free health care and its slightly less racism. After Candace we had Tom Vousden, a recovering incel who loves some Earl Grey and a bit of quiet shade…so a bit of

Sunday, Star of Kings, April 24th

Yesterday’s Sunday afternoon at The Star of Kings was a load of fun. Kicking things off was the brilliant Greg Houston who’s a little put out by religious fundamentalist types and why he’s never been targeted for radicalisation. That’s a rejection too far. Next was Jack Short and the dubious efficacy of some sanctions, like why Disney’s Anastasia should be cancelled. Tino Giaccotto was after Jack with the problems of insomnia…which comes in grams, apparently. Benedetto Sacco was hot on Tino’s heels with, well, I think it was something about the Jamaican weather house where the world’s meteorologists live. I could

Mother’s Day at The Star of Kings

Yesterday was our Mother’s Day show and it was a packed house with absolutely no idea the surprise we had in store for the end of the show. The show got going with the hilarious and magnetic stylings of Ros Hale and her pick a hole I got a story approach. It was then over to Lee VG and his resting unamused face, which is ironicaaly the opposite of the audience when he’s on. it was then over to Elliott Cass, who has the look of Harry Potter…if he was on a crack comedown. After Elliott was Xiaosu Xue who

Tuesday, March 22nd, Star of Kings

We were at The Star of Kings last night and kicking things off we had Naomi Wattis and just why she’s now convinced doing an iron man makes you remotely like Robert Downey Jnr. It was then over to Jack Short and the Ukrainian crisis in 21st century Tindr langauage: Ukraine and Russia are exes. Ukraine had enough of Russia’s toxic masculinity and moved on and started flirting with Nate O. Russia got crazy jealous and is now in the if I can’t have you no one can mindset. Sounds about right. It was then over to Jamie Skepper and

Wednesday, March 9th, Arch One

So it was a packed night at Arch1 last night, with a whole load of new faces both on and off stage and they ended up with a cracking show…both on and off stage. First up was the hilarious Matthew Healy who’s a bit like a learner driver when it comes to sex, he just pushes and turns everything in the hope of something getting turned on. We then had the return of the brilliant Amber Phillips and the problems of getting back out into the world post lockdown and the daily hassle of bras again. It was then over

Tuesday, November 30th, Star of Kings

We were at The Star of Kings last night and the show kicked off with some laughs from Jim Brown and some of the little things he tried during lockdown. Divorce was his least favourite. It was then over to the brilliant Holly Kasselder. Holly describes herself as one of life’s ‘medium’ type people, but our audience definitely thought she was one of life’s fabulous people! We then had Jamie Skepper, who comes from a long line of torch bearers and tightwads. Marc Molnar was next with why he would get paranoid and check if he’d crapped himself any time

Wednesday, November 24th, Arch One

G&B was at Arch1 last night and we had a cracker of a show. Kicking it all off we had Simon Hall, a man who loathes how women are treated and cat called in the street, largely because he gets it himself from building sites thanks to his long hair. After Simon was Lilian Belli, who has found herself recently contemplating lesbianism, if only for a more sophisticated foreplay experience. Rhea Folkers was next with the secrets of the trans handbag and just why the bathroom is always utterly spotless when she leaves. Cedric Aubert was next with the joys
