G&B’s Dark Delights at Arch One, April 27th

So Wednesday night at Arch1 was G&B’s Dark Delights show, our dark comedy night. I love these gigs so much and last night’s basket of deplorables were just plain brilliant. Kicking things off we had Mike Strogi, who gave the show an explosive start as well as some tips on the right airline to book if you want to fly straight to the office. It ws then over to Tom Cousins and a little nostalgia for the greats of 70’s TV before Connor Yeates explained just why Gordon Ramsey’s advice that you should always eat what you make might have

So it was a packed night at Arch1 last night, with a whole load of new faces both on and off stage and they ended up with a cracking show…both on and off stage. First up was the hilarious Matthew Healy who’s a bit like a learner driver when it comes to sex, he just pushes and turns everything in the hope of something getting turned on. We then had the return of the brilliant Amber Phillips and the problems of getting back out into the world post lockdown and the daily hassle of bras again. It was then over

G&B’s Dark Delights, Star of Kings, February 22nd

So last night was G&B’s Dark Delights, our homage to all things dark and twisted in comedy and what a fabulous night it was. Kicking things off we had Billy Kerr who reckons losing your hair is a bit like losing your virginity: it’s all over and done before you know it. Jaz Mattu was next with his lamentation to Bobbins the cat…plus a fuck you to comedy course advice. We then had the deliciously dark diva, Hannah O’Donnell who gives kudos to Eunice’s recent blowjob skills. Stephen Portlock was after Hannah with spunk in the eye of God before

I’m always excited when we have a line-up with acts I’ve not seen, especially if they’re new acts. Not knowing what to expect keeps you on your toes as an MC. Well last night’s show at Arch1 had several new faces to G&B and each and every one hit the mark brilliantly. Kicking things off we had Joe O’Donovan, who’s dad had a great way of summarising bedtime stories when Joe was a kid. Goldilocks, for example, came down to ‘don’t fuck with bears!’. After Joe we had Jake O’Brien Murphy, who has a great game to play while in

Wednesday, December 8th, Arch One

Last night we were at Arch1 and had a cracker of a line-up in store for the crowd. First up was Shahbaaz who offered a theory as to why Christians like to hold on to their traditions: chocolate eggs at Easter, pressies and food at Christmas as opposed to praying five times a day and starving yourself for a month every year. It’s a tough sell. We then had Lisa Carroll and the pain and suffering caused when Facebook and Instagram went down and she was unable to share news of the gorgeous man she’d met. Her pain was real,
