Monday was G&B’s New Act Competition, our monthly show at The Star of Kings where the acts compete for the cash, the trophy, the paid guest spot on next month’s show and the chance to compete in next year’s All Stars show on our 10th birthday. Last night’s winner was the simply hilarious Britt Pay. Britt will be back on June 5th to do her guest spot. The act in second place also gets the chance to compete in our All Stars show next year and last night had three acts tie in second place. So Gav Webb, Pat Smith and Jimmy Tam will also have the chance to compete in our All Stars show.
Starting May 17th, we will also be running a second, monthly New Act competition. This one will be at The Albany – Great Portland Street on the third Wednesday of every month. Bookings for all our competition nights are only open to acts who have done previous spots at G&B comedy.
