So Tuesday night at The Bell was the last New Act Competition before our All Stars heats kick off at The Star of Kings on Monday. Well what a night we had. It was a jam-packed, buzzing room and that crowd got an incredible line-up of comedy. This was one of the strongest line-ups I think we’ve ever had. When I gave Barbara a voting form she just looked at me and said, “I’ve absolutely no idea who to vote for!”
But they did indeed vote and the winner was Jenny Jope, who got the cash, the trophy, the paid guest spot, a place in the All Stars heats and a lifetime’s BYOB pass. And the final acts going through to the All Stars heats was Kamien Deane, Aidan McKeown, Max Devine and Ellis Strong.
