We had quite a good time at The Royal George last night – starting with Marco Del Valle, the world’s gayest colonizer, who is making Jane Austen proud. Next was Paul Little, who got a round of applause for being a librarian – to which he replied, ‘Shhhh’… Next up was Jenny Jope. Jenny’s Cornish family thinks she’s too big for her boots – due to her only having ten toes. Tony Carr then said his local NHS surgery is regretting sending him to his local pharmacist instead of his GP – some people just aren’t ready to see you drop your trousers – before Danielle Scott shared she’s currently on an anger management course, cause someone’s gotta manage hers. We then had @timthorne who gave us the power of dogs – despite his personal preference for a pet rock. It was then over to Kamien Deane Comedian, who says his midlife crisis was at least 10 years ago – and if you don’t believe him, you can ask his hair. MJ West went to his first gay bar at 15 – ‘buying books’ in Soho – where he learned not all buckets are for water. Next up was Steve Hawthorne (pictured). Steve says the best part of building the Shard was the weekend crane erections. Closing the first half was the fabulous Rosie Gray. Rosie dated a surgeon despite his small dick cause, well, she’s more of a balls girl. How does she know he was a surgeon? Apparently he mentioned it more than once.
Our second half kicked off with Gav Webb. Gav stands to be the proud owner of a 2 bed house – now if only his parents get hit with a nice cold winter…We then had Neil Benson who says his ex may say he’s slow and shaky, but boy does he do great jazz hands. Prakash Mistry then gave us a taste of India – without the takeaways – before Simon Draper shared the best part of his wedding, given he looks like a cop – the pigs in blankets. Cameron Holder then described South Africa for the uninitiated – Birmingham by the sea, complete with waves and stabbings – followed by Roy Michael. Roy’s wife’s family in Lima is afraid of kidnappings, but Roy is more worried they’ll move in with him in London. We then had Anton Potasyev who came here from Russia, though he had to leave his cat behind – he was just too pro Putin. Rhys Jose shared his frustrations with babies ghosting him when he’s talking in their faces – shades of Grindr. Our closing headliner was the wonderful Sam Day who was born a month early – aka premature evacuation – and who can deliver a rather sexy French discourse on how to clean a septic tank.
So that was our show! Join us next Thursday at The Royal George on June 4th, where headlining we’ve the utterly hilarious, girls’ world champ, Mackenzie Pike, and the dude with the well developed right biceps, the fabulously funny Charlie Firth
