Pete Kinsella
Write-up by guest MC Matthew Mj Hunter

It was another fantastic night at Royal George on Thursday. Declan Evans opened with his collection of Essex-themed greetings cards, including such heartfelt gems as “congratulations, you’re not the father” and “well done on winning your court case.” Lou Wilkinson followed by recounting the dangers of overindulging in wasabi peas an overdose few doctors are trained to handle. Kate Mc has thrown herself into London’s latest fad: empathy. Ben Nizan, a DJ, educated us with his top festival survival tips, while Dave Aron reminded us never to ask him for IT support despite being an IT consultant, he’s not especially good at it. Elena Maria Cotton realised Brexit might have been the right choice after all; apparently, Europe didn’t want us in the first place. Gav Webb discovered an ingenious way to secure free school dinners: seduce the dinner lady. Closing the first half, Pete Kinsella (pictured) enlightened us on the surprising benefits terrorism has on house prices an angle estate agents rarely mention.
The second half began with Charlie Firth, whose youth was made obvious by his knowledge of TikTok. Andrew Conway confessed that as a child he developed tooth decay from doing what other kids feared accepting sweets from strangers. Eddie Rojas admitted his only real problem with Idris Elba is that he’s just too talented. Piers Knight takes no chances and is always polite to AI just in case. Then Leon Brehony catalogued the full spectrum of millennial miseries. And closing the show was the fabulous Nick Morey who unveiled the hottest new skincare trend: depression. See you again next week at the Royal George!
