Wednesday, November 19th, The Bell

SJ Wyatt
Wednesday, November 19th was a cracker of a show at The Bell, a great line-up with a wonderfully up for it audience. First to the stage was Rosie G and just what awful creatures ladybirds are. Next was Roy Michael and the dangers of having your musical taste algorithm’d. It was then the turn of the always immaculate Susan Kitcatt and why dyslexia at work can be more problematic than you might think. Freddie Cornwell then gave us an insight into why he should never speak to anyone’s parents…ever! After Freddie was Jenny Jope and just how determined the Radio Times subscription team is. It was then over to Jim Hooker, who told us he’s and out and proud uncle…not that he did anything to achieve this title. Closing the first half was the fabulous Megan O’Brien, who’d had an absolute bitch of a day with absolutely no custard.
After the break, and a little bit of card magic, we got off to a great start thanks to Godfrey Mercado and a deep dive into the serious lacking in the British party spread. After Godfrey was Nora Mawla and the mystery of the dildo debt. It was then over to Andrew Steel who may or may not have an issue with his mate Steve. It was then over to Danielle Scott and the great stud no parent wants to see their kid with. Our evening’s penultimate act was the brilliant SJ Wyatt (pictured)and the Rosetta Stone of cat to Human and Dalek translations. Closing the show was the musical fabulousness of Eoghan Collins, a man with a tale or two you could never tell at a kids’ party, but has the wisdom of the ages as passed down by his best mate…a sagacious dog.
