Wednesday, June 10th, The Bell

Siobhan Dodd
Wednesday night we were at The Bell and it was always going to be a calmer night that last week’s, but the comedy was cracking and all kicked off by the hilarious Nick Morey and the perks of getting older. Next was Mark Nicholas and why being an identical twin at school wasn’t quite the Disney movie you’d expect. Amber Phillips then explained what a Belgian hand job was before Ian Braun showed us just how hard he can be, but we’ve gotta keep schtum. After Ian was Will Hatfield and his fantasy threesome. Next was Steve Tait and being organic with your dating apps. Tony Carr then told us all about an very interesting hospital appointment that we’ll never forget. Closing the first half was the fabulous Rosie G. Rosie took us through the evolution of early music and primal screaming.
After the break, and a little celebrity magic, we got off to a great start thanks to the brilliant Richard Wheatley. Richard told us just why he should never ask AI what it thinks of his dates. Talking of AI, our next act, Jonathan Laury, recently lost his job due to AI: absolute incompetence. Next was Damon Bowen-Ashwin who told us of the benefits of running up mountains in your underpants. Charlie Firth then got competitive with a blind act about whose love life was sadder. Charlie won. After Charlie was Stephen Gordon, a generational talent in the dog world, which is has way more charting than you’d imagine. We then had Dan Grennan and life in the moustache fast lane, Our penultimate act was Aarian Mehrabani, who had quite the last will and testament. Closing the show was the simply fabulous Siobhan Dodd (pictured), who taught us how to sign blow-jobs and avoid cooking for kids and getting free drinks.
