Wednesday at The Bell turned out to be a really fun gig, all kicked off by the fabulous Dylan Chand, who discovered he can’t do an Irish accent. Next was Kevin Collins (pictured) and the alphabetti-spahgetti people that are the gays. It was then over to James Streeter and why physics has no right to fat shame anyone, and stairs definitely don’t. After James was Tony Matthews, a man of mystery and confusion. Danny Matthews then gave us some great parenting tips: don’t have kids! Closing the first half was the hilarious Marco Del Valle, a man who dresses like a Victoria oppressor, but with the attitude of a Jane Austen character, if she wrote gay fiction.
The evening’s second half got going with some one handed magic before Lou Sirr (aka Pete Middlehurst) told us about why he love a bargain. It was then over to Dan Pati who had once been done for joy riding…a milk float! After Dan was Ana Pavlache and the one unforgivable crime you can commit in London; standing on the wrong side of an escalator. Our penultimate at was the awesome Alexandra Walker, who told us of the good old ays when a man qualified as an 8 just because he regularly showered. Closing the show was the mind-boggling magic of Stuart Turner, a man with no rabbit from a hat but a horse with some skills.
