Sunday afternoon at The Royal George was kicked off by the fabulous Sophie Stemmons and how to win the battle of wits with the gays. It was then over to MJ Hunter who reminisced to back in the day when he was a cool kid. Henry Small then told us of his interesting lineage, all the way back to the Kings of old. After Henry was Kodi McBride, who reckons Freud has a point…about your mum. It was then over to Janet Lyn who questions whether Brad Pit can hold a candle to Compo. We then had Mike Higgins, who once had a run-in with Andrew Tate…and kept on running. Closing the first half was the hilarious Nick Morey. Nick has some great life advice, and some shit stuff, plus some some truly awful career advice.
Kicking off the second half, after a bit of magic, we had the brilliant Godfrey Mercado and why he reckons he’s becoming a cliched uncle. After Godfrey we had Jason June, whose balls were firmly in the right place. After Jason was Paul Gregory who is a big dog lover, but only some dogs. Andy Conway then told us just how he choses the comedy nights he applies for. Well hung laughs still hasn’t got back to him. The afternoon’s penultimate act was Jack Townsend who gets a bit aroused when using the Dyson, and not for the reason you might think. Closing the show we had the simply fabulous Lee VG. With a real change of pace from his other job, Lee told us how cricket and Shakespeare helped him in life. Mainly in losing his virginity late.
