Kicking things off at The Bell Tuesday, April 21st, was Jon Wickham and the trouble with fickle mistress that is fame. Next was Evan Henley, who robbed us of his best Bell tower material. Freddie Cornwell then cleared up the crucial difference between someone who loves centipedes and someone who worked in 80’s television. After Freddie was Herries Anderton who’s slowly working his way up the bouncer/security ladder. Tony Carr then told us of the issue getting impressive dick pics and has a business idea to solve the problem. With no irony intended, it was then over to MJ (pictured), who has a little good to say about the Clapham gays…especially the pain of being one of them! Richa Ahuja then explained why giving her the light at the end of her set is confusing to say the least. It was then over to Marco Del Valle and why Angelina Jolie has been an important inspiration for him since his teens.
Kicking off the second half was the simply hilarious Andrew Steel, who now knows better that include his standup in his darting profile. Weirdly if he wants to avoid right wing women. Tom Raphael was next with just how tough it is being a ginger. After Tom was Lincoln Ho and why lavender isn’t cool. After Lincoln was Peter Clegg who told us just why four is the sexiest number. It was then over to Rowdy Bear (aka Paul Mackman) and the spirit of Willie Nelson before Iffy Shaik told us a lot of things I can’t put in this write-up. Our penultimate act was the musical fabulousness that is Eoghan Collins and the glorious racial diversity that he represents in Ireland. Closing the show was the brilliant Mj Hunter a black belt in sexual feng shui and has Alan Rickman as his internal voice of shame.
