Tuesday, May 12th, The Bell

Mark Rivlin
Tuesday night at The BellThe Bell we had Martin Ashworth MCing and the first act he brought to the stage was Marco Del Valle, who’s addiction is colonial drag. It was then over to Keith Mendes who will not be arranged into a marriage…even with a Royal! Next was Prakash Mistry, who doesn’t like A.I.s: artificial Indians. After Prakash was Ellis Strong, a man who eats Burger King for purely spiritual reasons. We then had Susan Kitcatt and why Katie Pryce truly is a legend. Erik Olsen then told us why he’s no longer the welcoming committee for his building before Tony Carr, aka Rob Brydon’s urinal bestie. It was then over to the fabulous Paul Little who recently sidestepped redundancy, so the comedy world’s gonna have to wait that bit longer for his Netflix special. Closing the first half was Andrew Steel, who told us the Light-year was a spin-off of Toy Story and that scissoring can’t make babies.
After the break, and a little detect a liar magic, we got off to a great start thanks to Brandon Brozorio and some erotic fan fiction. Next was Tony Matthews and a tale of love and the adorable, and expensive, Tina. Next was Kym Nelson who recently discovered just how her mum drove her father wild in bed. We then had Damon Bowen-Ashwin, a man who loves a bit of chicken, but not yoga. Janet Lynn then explained why it’s not advisable to treat a new date like a cute puppy. Our penultimate act was Sam Gray, who educated us on the scariest ability of hair. Closing the show was the utterly puntastic, gatling gun of one-liners Mark Rivlin (pictured) who gave us everything from Godzilla to cricket and gang violence to a rather interesting Robbie Williams back catalogue.
