So Monday night at The Star of Kings was the G&B All Stars Competition Heat #1. We had an utterly jam packed room who turned out to be a truly awesome audience. And what a show they got. This was the first of two heats where the qualifying acts from the past year’s New Act competitions come together to battle for the title of 2024 G&B All Star. I could not have been prouder of every single act up on that stage last night. It was one cracking performance after another and I was only too glad not to be voting as I’d have had no idea who to prioritise. But prioritising was the job in hand for our audience and they did so wonderfully.
So going through to the All Stars final on March 12th we have Kim Hope, Tiger, Arthur Mitchell and Katie Tweddle. There was only supposed to be three acts going through from this heat, but Tiger, Arthur and Katie got the exact same number of votes each, so who am I to argue with the wisdom of the audience.
