Easter Sunday at The Star of Kings was our annual outing to batshit crazytown, the best fun gig of the year. I woke this morning hungover and with my side still sore from laughing. Some truly notable sets from yesterday has to be Rosie‘s rendition of Martin Ashworth, Gareth Beavis’ stellar commitment to the bit, the Balmoral class that was Nick Bain‘s HRH and Charlie Firth‘s palpable relief to get off stage. That said, everyone was just incredible. From the first to the last act I was in tears of laughter. I’ve already had messages today from people asking if we can do these more often. But no, what makes these special is the fact it’s only once a year and if you can’t make it you just have to wait till next year. And next year’s is on Sunday March 29th at The Star of Kings.
