We had a fun time at the Bell last night – starting us off was Dylan Almeida who, unlike some of his stag do buddies, likes to think he’s got a bit more maleness to him than a scented candle. Next was Tony Carr who gave us a simple solution for brightening up the street with a touch of floristry – running down your neighbour – followed by Danielle Scott. Danielle has nailed the art of interviewing for jobs – so far it’s gotten her 37. Andrew Conway shared the obvious – he’s 6 foot tall and ripped – because after all, why argue with Grindr? Next up was Royston Pritchard, who, against all odds, is a compulsive gambler. We then had Ziad Samaha who may sound like he went to Eton, but is a true racial Rubix cube. Closing the first act was the fabulous Eddie Rojas (pictured). Eddie answers the age-old question of why fight the war on drugs – it seems that’s the best alternative. And, despite his slim waist, he is indeed American – though given his heritage, he prefers his drinks free of ICE.
Our second half opened with Richard Wheatley, the self-confessed Whitechapel Seer, and like Andy, he gets offers from Grindr – the correct pronunciation of which would be Grin-der. Next we had Barbora Beránková. Barbora, despite her name, is not queueing up for a hip replacement – just as well, since her landlord thinks she does her work on her back. Freddie Cornwell showed his deep committment to relationships – he gets it all done in a year – before Ella Clark shared her views on AI: unlike her ex boyfriends, it might be developing sentiment. It was then time for a wild and funny Japanese lesson thanks to Higashikawa Kohei, before Elena Maria Cotton described her boyfriend’s favourite type of feng-shui: graveyard style. Closing the show was the wonderful Mackenzie Pike. Mackenzie lives in Girls World and Boys World, so she can teach you both how to scroll on your phone and chat at lunch vs… actually eating your lunch with hardly any words spoken. Don’t ask her for details, unless she’s in Girls World. Thanks to her work as a plumber, she’s shocking genders all over town.
So that was our show! Join us at the Royal George on Thursday or Star of Kings on Sunday if you can’t wait till next week.
