Monday, September 9th, Star of Kings

John Davies
It was a fun gig at The Star of Kings last night and kicking things off we had the hilarious Jack Henry who has been taking anti-depressants since he was 8…or for 18 years, depending on how honest he’s being about his age. Paul Little then pointed us in the direction of a barber who does a great line in eyebrow impressions before René Nathan hit us with everything from ADHD to constipation and bedside wig blocks. It was then over to Max Silver who told us just why he Ian’t keen on his fellow gym bros. After Max was Auz Thompson and some top tips on attending your first orgy. Next was Rick Longley, who studied at Oxford, which isn’t as important as you knowing he studied at Oxford We then had the “technically” international comedian Connor Bell before SJ Wyatt told us just why the toxic, unemotional, destructive Cybermen should be called Cyber-not-all-men. Closing the first half was Nick Bain who explained some of the diary requirements needed to keep a well oiled throuple working.
The evening’s second half got off to a great start thanks to Declan Evans and some great tips on how to tell twins apart. Next was JAT (aka Jay Middleton) and how to get the most from a tutu. It was then over to Morgan DeVere and all things spicy Bond. Liam McGough then declared himself as a fanboy for Declan Evans before John Davies (pictured) warned of the dangers of hovering Millennium Falcons. Simran Rajani then got sentimental for back home because our poor knife crime gets her all nostalgic for those friendly mass shootings. Lucy Jenner then confessed to being a BFOA – Big Fan Of Acronyms. Closing the show was Mr Corporate himself, the brilliant Phillip Cornwall, the problem wrangler at a local solution factory. Phil is known in his industry for pushing the envelope of buzz word dealership.
So that was Monday at The Star of Kings. Headlining next Monday we’ve Paul Little and James Danielewski.
