Monday night at The Star of Kings was our monthly New Act Competition and the standard in this one was through the roof. Everyone taking part last night should be seriously proud of their set and I was again only too glad not to be voting as I would have been at a loss as to who would get my votes.
But there was indeed a winner. In second and third place was Mark Daniels and Lee VG, both of whom go through to next year’s All stars heats. And in first place, winning the cash, the paid guest spot, the trophy, the place in the All stars heat and a lifetime’s BYOB pass was the hilarious Dylan Almeida.
