Wednesday at The Bell was a fun show kicked off by the fabulously funny Rohan Ashar with triangular crapping and the joys of trains. It was then over to Declan Evans, a man who makes a great cup of tea…no matter how big the kettle. After Declan was Kevan Hall and why Hull might not be the best place for motivational Americans. Archie Keen was next with tips on how to deal with a heckler, if you have two days to think about it. After Archie was Morgan DeVere who might have had an evil nan. Declan Kennedy then posted out the futile nature of anger energy before potentially starting his own fascist regime. Closing the first half was the hilarious Mj Hunter. MJ taught us about vaginal Feng Shui and how being bad a maths might make you bad at other things, too.
After the break we got off to a great stat thanks to David Ferguson and how 9/11 was a long overdue break for the Irish. Miraj Mehta then told us about the most expensive pet he ever bought before Jack Gregson explained why he’s technically not a failure, just not very good at going places and doing things. Martina O’Sullivan (pictured) then let the audience in on the joys of a Celtic funeral. The evening’s penultimate act was the brilliant Mr Corporate, Phillip Cornwall. Phillip did a service from the corporate book of bullshit according to our lord Alan Sugar. Closing the show was the fabulous Charlie Firth. Charlie told us about his bedtime bicep workout and the disappointment his parents might one day suffer when they discover they haven’t brought up a top shagger.
So that was a fun Wednesday at The Bell. Headlining next Wednesday we’ve the hilarious Eoghan Collins and G&B’s reigning All Star queen, Kim Hope.
