Sunday afternoon at The Star of Kings

It was a fun afternoon at The Star of Kings on Sunday. Kicking things off we had the return of Steven Mayne and everything from death to cheese and tennis to the tenses of ageing. Seraj Alijan was next with just how jiggly Hobnobs can make a man before Valerie Steele bare faced lied to the room, telling us she’d had her 60th birthday. Becky Jade was next with tales of Rocket, the rescue cat who’s turned out to be a bit of a geezer. It was then ver to Jamie McDonald and some homosapien pride and the right way to deep throat your potassium. After Jamie was Andris Gerasimovics and his campaign to show some love for a Tory…if only to stop them fu****g the economy…and pigs heads. Closing the first half was Ben Adams who seems desperate to blow James Acaster…for promotional reasons, apparently.
After the break we got off to a great start thanks to SJ Wyatt who says they’re bisexual, because it goes nicely with the bipolar. Morgan Trotman was hot on SJ’s heels with the traumas of travelling in London and its weaving Williams. Next was Tristan Wolfe who’s a bit fan of Barbenheimer before Asil Robertson assured us we should never mix up narcolepsy and necrophilia. It was then over to Stingo Murphy and a parenting stance that’s really not paying off. Jen Etherington then informed us that it’s illegal to put a stamp on upside down. Well, did you know that!? Closing the show was the simply fabulous Kitty Cassis aka Aimee Cooper (pictured), astrologer to the B lists, Bonjela dealer to the C lists and founding member of her local Neighbourhood Watch. Kitty had the crowd in fits of laughter and we’ll be seeing her son for a Sunday 20 spot.
Headlining next Sunday we’ve Luke Richards and Matt Withers.
