Wednesday, April 3rd, The Bell

Chris Ford
So night two back at The Bell was picked off by the musical comedy of Barbara Fernandez and psycho therapists and the place you don’t go. It was then over to Mark Vincent and why everyone who went to school in the 70’s definitely has a good book in them. Mj Hunter then told us why he’s worried he might not be so good at the sex thing, but he’s maybe slightly better now with numbers. It was then over to Amber Phillips who lives in 90’s waitron Kosovo, aka Southend. We then had Raj Kukadia, the guy who once upon a time was responsible for minding the gap…not anymore. Mr Corporate, Phillip Cornwall, was next with the transformational snow globe and another new corporate buzz phrase. It was then over to Sam Hampson and the joy of connecting with the damaged family members out there. Closing the first half was Adam B and the head messing, mind bending, befuddling Rubik’s Cube magic.
After the break, and some magic with Scrabble tiles, we got off to a great start thanks to the barking silliness of Jack Scullion. It a turnaround from his usual poetic prose, Jack gave us a preview of his latest play. It was then over to Mac O’Donnell who’s not convinced we’re really taking fitness seriously here in the UK before Jacob Tidmarsh rocked his tutu ballet dude aesthetic. Dónal Keane then lamented that data management for dating apps isn’t the hottie magnet gig he thought it might be. Tony Carr then explained why school nativities rarely do crowd work before Tiger told us just why he’s not a lover of beans on toast. Closing the first half was the hilarious Chris Ford (pictured). Once convinced by an ex that gaslighting wasn’t real, Chris didn’t care because he’d been told being a nurse and a comedian were sure fire ways to getting rich.
So that was Wednesday night at The Bell. Next week at The Bell we have on the Tuesday G&B’s Dark Delights night and on Wednesday we have Declan Kennedy and Carwyn Blayney headlining.
