Wednesday, December 17th, The Bell

Ilan Gandhi
Wednesday, December 17th at The Bell turned out to be a really fun night. Opening the show was the fabulous Amber Phillips and why pleasure doesn’t equate to length. Just ask Southend. Next was the one and only Pyjama Man and some live action whack-a-mole. It was then over to Andrew Steel and why his parents are to blame…for EVERYTHING! Elena Cotton then explained, mainly to the guys, what an everything shower is before Ilan Ganani (pictured) told us of his father’s odd concept of conflict. We then had Toju Joe and how to keep warm in open water swimming. Closing the first half was the hilarious Matt Withers and the Cliff Richards 2026 calendar and why even the Nazis are even turning their noses up at Musk.
After the break, and a magic moment or two with the spirits, we had Chester Jerrat and the weird concept of bra sizes. Next was Sam Gray and just why Viagra needs to be kept locked behind glass in chemists before Freddie Cornwell got some responding support from the audience before questioning sartorial style of babies. Susan Kitcatt then explained why it’d be good to actually have Hugh Grant as PM…so he’d stop making movies! After Susan was Ben Cooper, a man who often wonders if being in touch with his inner tree is enough. Our penultimate act was Patrick G and why Einstein was a bit of a wrong un. Closing the show was the musical hilarity of Nathan Plant, a man who’s had enough sex and debt to last him a while.
And that was our last show of 2025 at The Bell. We’re back on January 7th. See you then.
