We had a fun time at the Star of Kings yesterday – it began with Donal Vaughan, who says he was exhausted after the London marathon – it tested his endurance – to watch. Mark Vincent then modeled his ‘anti-mugging’ attire, designed to repel any wanna be criminal, complete with fake nits and ringworm. Tony Carr celebrated his 68th birthday with a voucher from his kids for Pure Cremations – before Alex Floyd gave us a performance, though mostly from the men’s toilet. Richard Taylor came out as a self-proclaimed ‘lad’ hitting sun, sea and sand with his homies. A shame he burned his sausage. Matt Withers then provided us with a possible solution to the UK’s political landscape: following in Ukraine’s footsteps with a PM who doubles as a standup comedian. Get ready for some new UK-based Tinder jokes. Next up was Lauren Rivers (aka Lauren Amanda) who really adores her nieces and nephews, even when they ask where her chest is. Mark Rivlin finished our first half by telling his son that yes, he’s totally up for joining a gang, in fact he’ll give it a stab.
Our second half opened with Tracey Bowman lauding sphincteric sensations in hot tubs (limerick style), before Miranda Evans shared the true challenges of jury duty: discovering the defendant is the hottest person in the courtroom. We then had Jake Kilov recount his difficulty taking his headphones off – if only those pesky police hadn’t handcuffed him – before @lizziedaykin gave us the one thing she never leaves her house without: an ulterior motive. @hebberhaddit was next, with the best way to train her dog not to sleep in her bed anymore: she sleeps in his. It was then over to Sam Cook who, according to a guy on Grindr, is neither a twink nor a twunk…just a twat. Following Sam was Andy Brittain. Andy’s hairless legs make him wonder where his kids get theirs – makes him wish he’d had boys. Closing the show was the fabulous Dick Speed (aka James Watkins). Dick has risen from the ashes as a madcap quiz presenter (pictured) who encourages the audience to throw his balls at him and feel various celebrity mustaches. Wild stuff!
So that was our night at the Star of Kings! Join us next Sunday May 4th, where we’ve the simply hilarious, fiery dynamite that is Matthew Mj Hunter.
