We had a fun time at The Royal George yesterday, starting with Jack Allen, whose dad has arthritis – Jack looks on the bright side: he’s easier to catch when he runs off to the park to escape his missus. We then had Andrew Steel (pictured), who gave us a take on cheeky dolphins that we’re not likely to forget. Next up was Chuck Mason who, given his look, now avoids Oompah Loompas and chocolate rivers. Rohan Ashar gave a shoutout to his British Indian heritage, which it turns out is like a favourite dish of many Brits – good ol’ korma, as it looks Indian but it’s really not. Doug Graves bemoaned the toughest part of being a London cabbie – everyone wants him to take them home except certain lovely ladies – before Matthew Mj Hunter got on a train to find a short ginger guy to take the piss out of, which he found hilarious fun till realising that guy was him. Closing the first half was the fabulous Kyriakos Vlachos. When it comes to straight guys on Grindr who want to stay that way, he’s more than happy to lend a helping hand. He came from Greece to the UK in search of a sugar daddy, which he now knows is not someone on universal credit, as that is not a term for worldwide lending power.
Our second half kicked off with Amber Phillips who has turned her favourite hobby into a career – correcting the grammar of others – till she had to mime a rather specific sex term over Zoom. It ain’t all glam. Next up was Brandon Brozorio. Brandon says the best part about AI is that it will kill us all – if he doesn’t kill it with his jokes first
Richard Taylor helped us see that being an animal lover can come with a heavy price tag – unless you lived in Denmark – before Luke Benjamin shared he’s not that popular at orgies, cause he’s less lubricated more hydrated. Valerie Steele then gave us the easy way to identify an 80s party – they’re the ones waving for help – before our wonderful closing headliner Martina O’Sullivan said that unlike Kyriakos, she’s hurt her hand, so not available for those kinds of jobs right now – though where her husband is concerned, she’s happy to investigate AI options. Plus we all now know how to wear the face off somebody, which can always come in handy.
So that was our gig at The Royal George – join us next Sunday on October 11th with the fabulously funny Marco Del Valle and everyone’s favourite G&B headliner, the utterly hilarious Matthew Mj Hunter.
