Sunday afternoon, Star of Kings, August 4th

Erin Hunter
It was a fun afternoon at The Star of Kings on Sunday. Kicking off the comedy was Declan Evans with news that if you had a crap birthday, it might have been due to his work at the Post Office. It was then over to Calvin Smith who’s the favourite headliner over at The Samaritans. We then had the truly puntastic Mark Rivlin and why no woman no Sky might be the result of divorce. After Mark was Will Earle who tells us he’s not a paid by the hour Protestant. Next was Richard Taylor and the squeaky get your cock out set. Connor Bell then told us he’s a plus size woo! Girl before Neil Davies told us how his kids have signed him up for internet dating and how it was a wonderfully wrinkly success. Closing the first half was the fabulous Mark Vincent. Mark’s semi-retired. At least he is these days until he pops a blue pill.
After the break, and a a little body language magic, we got off to a great start thanks to Amber Phillips whom despite evidence to the contrary with some MC’s, she doesn’t have a difficult name to pronounce. Douglas Taylor then confessed to possibly being from the OG evil gene pool before Mike Strogi hit us with some highway code realness. Steven Mayne then told us of his glorious past and proudest moment with The Met. Hot on Steven’s heels was the musical Erin Hunter (pictured) and the ukulele rendition of Tour De France loathing. Our Penultimate act was James Onionz whom regardless of your vegan views really isn’t James Bacon. Closing the show was the amazing Katie Tweddle and her musical strip. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if you get the chance to see Katie perform, jump at the chance!
