Well, it was a packed night at Royal George Charing Cross Road for Monday’s New Act Competition and this was easily one of the toughest competitions we’ve had in a long time. Act after act smashed sets and made the voting process near impossible. There were so many great acts on last night I genuinely had no idea who was going to walk off with the trophy. But we did indeed have a winner, the hilarious Anna Donald. Anna won the cash prize, the trophy, the paid guest spot, a place in our annual All Stars competition and, of course, a lifetime’s BYOB pass. Also going through was Brandon Brozorio, MJ West, Matt Tuplin, Danielle Scott and Valerie Steele.
And I’ve just realised something, the last four G&B competition nights have been won be the ladies. You go, girls!
