August 11th, Sunday afternoon at The Star of Kings

Declan Evans
It was a fun afternoon at The Star of Kings on Sunday and kicking off the comedy was the hilarious Ollie Taylor and the mystery of why Trump’s shooter didn’t wipe his browser history. Next was Lindsey Pugh who’s looking for a significant other before she’s called grandma. Mike Strogi then wondered if there’s too much focus on safety in driving theory tests before James Onionz assured us he’s no relation to James bacon. Cathy White then confessed to being the feline equivalent of Fagan. After Cathy was Mac O’Donnell who might soon be The Met’s new interrogation method. Closing the first half was Steven Mayne and the things never to say before, during and after sex.
The second half kicked off thanks to Declan Evans (pictured) who made a powerful statement about equality: he’d happily rob anyone. George Lestner then had us wondering if maybe he’s the wrong person to own a dog before Véronique Baylaucq wondered if the olympics have helped the men in black wipe past memories. Mark Flexman then learnt that the backflip is probably not the shag lure he once thought it was. Our afternoon’s penultimate act was Dean Helliwell, whom despite the look is not a member of the EDL or a life sized sex toy. Closing the show was the fabulously funny Mj Hunter and everything from no go threesomes, to sex ed and who sends the food back in restaurants.
