G&B Sunday afternoon at The Royal George (Soho)

Barbara Fernandez
Usually we’re at The Star of Kings on a Sunday afternoon, but July 20th saw us at Royal George Charing Cross Road. Kicking things off we had Martin Ashworth, recalling Joe Biden…something Joe struggles to do these days. It was then over to Tracey Bowman and the romantic mechanics of what’s under the bonnet. Next was Steven Mayne and what defines the correct amount of c**k in a threesome. After Steven was Hannah Elsy and just why Britain is great. Phillip Pip Reiss was next with news that he’s a lover of horses and a deep disappointment to his family. We then had Calin Gheorghiu, whose friends told him he should visit Madame Tussaud’s. He’s now looking for new friends. Matt Mayer was next with the confession that he’s a big lover of crusts, but just not getting the curls. It was then the turn of Arabella Barrington Carr (aka Catherine Lamb) who’s shifting her knock-off stash at the Roedean car boot sale. Closing the show was the Aussie awesomeness of Kim Hope. Kim told us she recently had a DNA test, which revealed that she was 100% bad bitch…and we all love a bad bitch!
After the break, and a little one-armed card magic, Lucy Jenner told us of her first concert: Glee Live, which is about as gay as it gets. Leo Urushibata was next with the real definition of mansplaining before Susan Kitcatt declared loud and proud that she Ian’t a Coldplay fan. After Susan was Jeffrey Soh and why we should always listen to our mother’s…or suffer the consequences. Lenny Edmunds then explained why letting her cockapoo lick you is possibly more hygienic then most people. After Lenny was Evan Henley with ostriches, trigger warnings and cocaine. Declan Evans then questioned airport security and just how hydrated terrorists need to be. The fabulous Nick Morey then explained why not retaining wisdom was a great skincare discipline before the musical Barbara Fernandez (pictured) closed the show with some musical snippets from her upcoming show, Singing, Sagging and Shagging which you can see at The Star of Kings on Sunday, July 27th.
