Tuesday, May 6th, The Bell

Kyriakos Vlachos
May 6th at The Bell had the ever immaculately dressed Sobin ST kicking things off. It’s nice to see his trousers at a suitable length, though. We then had Shaun England and the 91 year old virgin. It was then over to Connor Bell, who gets a military discount at Greggs. After Connor was Michael Aicken who tried to quell his nerves by imagining the audience naked…which didn’t help with his orgy phobia. Next was Eoghan Collins and the problems with a sweaty back poster. It was then over to Gabriel Celaya, a man with resting Brexit face before Mani Ahmed told us why he finds “certain” accents just a bit weird. Closing the first half was the musical Kyriakos Vlachos (pictured), a man so musical you’d have to be a true homophobe not to agree. So just get him some coke!
After the break, and a wee bit of find the lady magic, we got off to a great start thanks to Phil Green and the problem with Scandinavian audiences. It was then the turn of Tom Manning, whose set could have been the funniest thing ever, but his nipples got the lion’s share of audience attention. After Tom was Amber Phillips, the bravest and most “exotic” member of her family. Michal Jenicek then told us why he has so much respect for the British love of organised queuing before Lyndon Carney explained just how he knows Hyundai cars are surprisingly robust. Closing the show was our very own songbird, the fabulous Barbara Fernandez. Barbara gave us some songs from her upcoming show, Singing, Saying & Shagging, which you can catch at The Temple Bar in Brighton over the next few weekends starting on May 10th.
So that was Tuesday at The Bell. Headlining next week we have the musical Jonathan Bennett and the utterly hilarious Caroline Madds.
