Sunday afternoon, December 1st, Star of Kings

Barbara Fernandez
Sunday afternoon at The Star of Kings had a little extra on top of our usual Sunday comedy, but kicking things off we had the brilliant Mark Vincent. Mark has recently looked up his family tree, only to get squirrel shit in his eye. It was then over to Mj Hunter and how to spot the tell tale signs of a toxic divorce: being good a ten pin bowling. Lauren Hunter then gave us the importance of the correct squat toilet vectors before Noni (aka Leonore Michalski) confessed to having had a tough week: an old frenemy has lost a ton of weight. Cathy White then told us just why you should never accept odd scented flowers from a weird neighbour before Mac O’Donnell told us all about his book smart father. It was then over to Gordon MacSween who had us ponder the linguistic conundrum of when a tosser becomes something far worse. Richard Taylor then explained when swimming is never a good rehabilitation therapy. After Richard was Tony Carr, who cherishes the birthday gift of a Pure cremation voucher that he got from his kids. Paul Little was next with just why his barber has had enough. After Paul was Calvin Smith, who’s not a fan of being told he’s brave for doing comedy. Just what are they saying about his sets?! Closing the first half was the hilarious John Pape, a man who has been exorcised from Premier Christian Radio premises.
After the break we had the absolute joy of Barbara Fernandez‘ (pictured) fringe show Singing, Sagging & Shagging, a hilarious romp through the trials, tribulations and relationships of someone who has lived and unashamedly full life…and still going strong.
