Kicking off our Sunday afternoon show at Royal George Charing Cross Road on September 27th was the hilarious Richard Wheatley and how to best send an untraceable death threat with brail. It was then over to Roger Gewolb, whom at 83 only recently started comedy because he didn’t want to peak early. We then had Tiger, who worries if he ever goes bald that he’ll go from Kpop to monk. Aliana then told us just how the Russian other half live before Jason June tried to con his audience into flashing their darkest secrets to him. Closing the first half was Mark Nicholas, who’s not a fan of Andy Burnham, aka Kier Starmer with a whippet. He’s also possibly not the right person to ask to do a eulogy.
The afternoon’s second half got off to a great start thanks to hilarious New Yorker Jill Strassler, who wanted to know just how much she can get away with lying about her age. James Streeter then told us all about his grandfather and his influence on him…mainly diet. After James was Taylor Churchill, who despite having lived in Spain for a while still manages to have a very up North complexion. Our penultimate act was Tom Garvey, who strongly advises against getting your own farts caught in your welding mask. Closing the show was the hilarious Dylan Almeida, a man who changes his ethnicity when tanned and who has a whole pharmacy of relatives
