Monday night at The Star of Kings was G&B’s Weird & Wonderful Competition. This was a little experiment to see if there might be room for an occasional competition night that catered for the more unusual and different acts, character acts, musical, magical, prop etc, the kind of acts that can sometimes find competitions and gong shows tougher going. The competition gave each act a little longer than the usual competition tigh five and provided a fabulously unique night of comedy chaos. The evening’s winner was the gloriously funny prop comedy of Richard Woolford who nabbed the trophy, the cash prize and a place in next year’s All Stars competition.
